Advent Family Day At Home - 28th November 2021
The Marriage and Family Life Commission invites you to our Advent Family Day @ Home
On the First Sunday of Advent, 28th November 2021
Join us in Celebrating Family and the start of Advent at home.
To help families in our Diocese to start to look towards Christmas and celebrate the Advent season, we are providing free packs of resources so you can join in with our crafting activities at home. The pack will include some of the items and instructions needed to produce your own Advent Wreath and a few of the popular crafts that have been part of our Advent Family Day in previous years.
You will be invited to join us at 3pm on 28th November via Zoom to share the crafts you have made with other families in the Diocese and to join our interactive and multisensory Advent Service when Bishop Peter will join us to bless your Advent Wreaths as you light your first Advent candle.
The craft packs are limited and for families within our Diocese on a first come first served basis. To request a pack and indicate your wish to take part in the service please email your details* including postal address to Margaret Hinton mfl@rcdwxm.org.uk
by 15th November.
