Readers Formation Days on the New Lectionary
THE NEW LECTIONARY & THE MINSTRY OF READER
Formation days on the new Lectionary have been organised for those who exercise the liturgical Ministry of Reader. This is in preparation for the introduction of the new Lectionary on the First Sunday of Advent. These days will be led by Deacons in
parishes as follows, all from 10am to 3pm;
Saturday 19th October Pwllheli & Cathedral
Saturday 26th October Mold & Colwyn Bay
Saturday 9th November Tywyn & Prestatyn
If unable to attend the meeting closest to you, you will be welcome at any of the other venues. The meetings will take
place in the church due to expected numbers.
Attendees should bring a packed lunch, although tea and coffee will be available in the church hall.
Please pray for your Readers that they may be inspired afresh by the Scripture they proclaim to the benefit of all who desire
to hear the word of God that it may instruct their faith and their lives.
This is the first time there is to be a mass liturgical formation across the Diocese of a single ministry and could be the
beginning of further ongoing formation.
